The Madison County Office of the Sheriff currently has one K9-Unit.  Lida is a 5 year old female from the Czech Republic.  Lida has an Advanced Narcotics Certification.  Patrol certifications include: Building searches, area searches, tracking and apprehensions.

Lida’s training consisted of a 10 week long, spring class for Patrol and a 6 week long, fall class for Narcotics.  Lida resides with a Sheriff Deputy at his residence.
