Field Offices

The Patrol Unit utilizes four (4) field offices that compliment the main office at the Public Safety Building in Wampsville.  Field offices are located in the villages of Morrisville, Munnsville, DeRuyter and the newest located in the village of Earlville.  Members of the road patrol are assigned to two of the field offices.  Deputies assigned to the offices report directly to the field offices at the start of their shift instead of the main Wampsville office.  The location of each field office places a road patrol in the central and southern zones of the county for a quicker response to a call for service.  The field offices are not staffed but are available to road patrol personnel for taking complaints, conducting interviews and processing arrests, without causing a deputy to return to the Sheriff's Office Public Safety Building in Wampsville - also the seasonal snowmobile and marine units frequently use these offices.
